With reference to your letter to us of 19th November last, I am desired to acquaint you that, provided yourself, family, and friends, specified on the other side, embark for Hongkong by the Company's steamers during the summer, the Managing Directors would be willing, in consideration of the number of the party, to reduce the amount of £1325 to £1060. (One thousand and sixty pounds) for passage money from London to Hongkong, exclusive of the expense of the French transit.
